UNDERCOVER is a dramatic television series created by veteran screenwriter Michael Lucker and former undercover FBI agent turned best-selling novelist Dana Ridenour, based on her distinguished career infiltrating criminal organizations coast to coast.
The provocative series follows FBI Special Agent Jamie Granger, a twenty-nine year old, newly certified undercover operative who works long-term, deep cover cases wherever they may be. She is a smart, sexy, idealistic rebel who tries to do the right thing, but constantly finds her morals tested in a world where not everything is black or white.

Each season UNDERCOVER takes Jamie behind enemy lines to infiltrate a different criminal organization in a different part of the country. Season One is set in the isolated panhandle of Idaho where Jamie invades a dangerous domestic terrorism cell determined to undermine the government. Season Two will have a whole different feel as Jamie investigates a ruthless drug trafficking network in the swampy Lowcountry of South Carolina. Season Three will take Jamie to Orlando, Florida where she discovers the gritty underbelly of sex trafficking beneath the city’s shiny tourism veneer. Three seasons of one show, but each drastically different from the other.

Below The Radar introduces viewers to the new FBI of today that was forged by the causes and aftermath of 9/11 and to the criminal organizations they infiltrate mainly through the lens of the women in them. Our lead character, Lexie Montgomery, is one of these 9/11 babies. Each season we will go undercover with her and witness one case unfold from both Lexie’s/ the FBI point of view as well as that of the female ‘criminals’ on the other side that she is infiltrating. Lexie and these women are sometimes heroes, sometimes not, but they all are complex, contradictory people who live in the gray, liminal spaces of life that the world actually is made up of. We leave it up to the audience to figure out whose side they will be on in the end.

Below The Radar is an official selection for the Atlanta International Screenplay Awards. It is also a semi-finalist for the Emerging Screenwriters Awards.
